FAQ's

What is APS, what does APS do?
APS stands for Athletic Placement Services. Our hope is that each athlete that joins APS will have as many options as possible to help them find the right program after high school.

Please visit our Mission Statement page or our About Us page for more details.

How does APS help me "Get Noticed"?
It truly is an entire "process". Some of the things we do include: an evaluation to determine what schools to target, create and post academic and athletic profiles, edit and post a video of what college coaches look for, assist you as you contact schools, and much more.

For more details, please refer to our "Pricing & Packages" page to see which package is right for you and what steps we take to ensure that you "Get Noticed".

Who is APS? Are you scouts? Did you play in college?
APS is compromised of a variety of people. We have inside specialists that are our academic experts and we have our athletic experts. None of our staff are considered professional "scouts". Currently, all of our staff has played collegiate sports and each of us has gone through "The Process" of being recruited. We know our staff is well respected by college coaches throughout the country because of our knowledge, honesty, and experience.

Is this only for the elite-student athletes? No, absolutely not! Anyone can benefit from our service. Our service is designed specifically for those kids that might fly under the radar of Division I programs. We want to help the kids in that next tier, those who are quality student-athletes and could definitely play somewhere after high school but aren't ranked in the Top 100 of every publication.

Many student-athletes don't recognize the opportunities that exist after exist. We do. Thousands of schools at all levels are looking for exceptional players every year. We want to ensure that every student-athlete that wants to and can play at the next level will get noticed.

What separates APS from all the other similar services?
Simply put, we work harder for you. We will establish a relationship with you, get to know you on a personal level, and keep YOUR best interest in mind when making decisions.

Can’t I do this on my own?
Absolutely! We are a service. APS is designed to simplify the process and make is easy to understand for you and your family. Much like a CPA does taxes or a landscaper takes care a lawn, with enough time and knowledge anyone could do this too. The truth of the matter is that navigating the entire recruiting process can feel like full-time job for any person.

In reality, much of what we offer would take any individual an incredible amount of time and money. We have mastered the process and will be able to answer all of your questions as we guide you down the right path.

Won’t my coach do this for me?
Perhaps. Most coaches have their player's best interest at heart, but the reality is that high school (or club) coaches are often too busy to help on a consistent basis. Many teach or have other full-time jobs that may restrict the time and effort they devote to each individual athlete in a given program. Still, a great many of them do a terrific job promoting and guiding their own student-athletes, as well.

Countless coaches are knowledgeable about the recruiting or have "connections" to ensure their athletes "get noticed". That is great and we consider these coaches another resource. Our goal at APS is to maximize your exposure level, increase the odds that you end up at an ideal place ("a home"), and get the attention you deserve every step of the way.

How much does it cost?
We offer 4 different packages at 4 different prices. Please see our pricing page to compare the different packages and decide which is right for you and your family.
